From Alyssa...

I am Alyssa Hagan, a free-spirited, California-based wedding and elopement photographer. You can usually find me in a long, flowy dress with tangles in my unruly hair and a hat that I am probably obsessed with on my head. I live for easy going, fun vibes and can often be found listening to my favs Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, Vance Joy or The Lumineers on the daily. I am married to a small-town Veterinarian and together we have the sweetest 9 year old boy ever. Our house is filled with pets, love and often a sink full of dishes. The ENFP, Campaigner Type part of me loves meeting new people and travelling to new places, as long as there are tacos and beer.

I’m Michelle, a full-time wedding photographer currently based out of a little town outside of Edmonton, not far from some of the classic picturesque mountains of Alberta, Canada. I’m a traveling, adventure, elopement photographer with a love for styling shoots. To say I love travel, adventure and styling is an understatement - it is what drives me. I love creating experiences, whether that involves elopements with epic ocean views, adventure sessions on rocky mountain sides, or beautiful collaborations with other creatives. As an artist it’s important for me to stay true to and express my voice as well as finding my tribe to help bring that vision to life! In that search Steph of @wildlyus and I came together to collaborate on many styled shoots which in turn made us really good friends along the way, and now we get to share that vision with you all!

A little history on my journey to becoming a photographer - I first became interested in photography as a teenager, playing with film cameras and experimenting with photo shoots (collaborating even then), but it was not until my own experience with my wedding photography that I discovered my love for photographing couples in love and decided to pursue it as a career. Since then, I have been traveling the globe with my husband–from the gentle slopes of the mountains of Banff to the coasts of Croatia—learning the ways of travel, photography, styling and the beautiful combination of all three. Together, and through all my travels, styled shoots and amazing clients I have built this business one photographic adventure at a time.

Stephanie Penner

@wildlyus

Hey!  I'm Steph - a stylist, florist, and sometimes model from Calgary, Canada (only an hour drive from the famous Banff National Park)   From styling our home, to throwing dinner parties that last late into the night most weekends, shaping life into something beautiful and creating magic connection as a result is deeply rooted in who I am. A few years ago I started writing a blog (www.wildlyus.com) as an outlet and platform to share my love of style, interiors, and gatherings that are always complete with delicious food, flowers and plenty of wine.  Blogging opened doors to meeting and connecting with other talented creatives.  Eventually, my husband James and I started modelling for and working on photoshoots, which has become a more tangible way for me to share, create, travel and collaborate.

All this has come full circle in co-creating, styling, and hosting Wildly the Workshop with Michelle.  We originally met while collaborating on a styled shoot.  We connected quickly.  Our love of fashion, styling, and staying true to your own voice made us realize we made a pretty good team.  Not only do I get to work with my good friend, I get to share my eye for beauty, experience with collaborating, style some epic shoots, create some floral magic, model alongside my man, and finally throw one hell of a dinner party in the mountains!
